Lemon Pound Cake

You need:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. With the mixer running on low speed, cream the butter. Add 1 cup of the sugar and mix. Add the eggs one at a time, and the vanilla. Add the dry ingredients and 1/4 cup of the lemon juice to the butter mixture. Mix until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan and bake at 375 F for 65 minutes. After it cools down, slice it and serve it.
