Fudge Brownies for Saint Valentine’s Day

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Whipped cream, optional
  • Strawberries, optional

Directions

1. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla.        2. Gradually add the flour, cocoa and salt. Stir in nut
3.Pour into a greased 9-in. pie pan. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until almost set. Serve with whipped cream  and fruits, or ice cream.
