Adventuredome Theme Park

The Adventuredome Theme Park is the perfect place for family fun in fabulous Las Vegas! The Adventuredome is a humongous dome-shaped theme park in downtown Las Vegas. It’s packed with fun rides, a rollercoaster, an arcade, a 4D Movie Theatre, clown shows, carnival games, and so much more! The Adventuredome was the most fun my family has had in years. We got on the rides thinking “This is going to be so scary,” but end up leaving saying “I want to do that again!!!” My son’s favorite ride was Sand Pirates, which is pretty much just an extreme swing. You swing back and forth on a ship. After several swings, you find yourself at a 90 degree angle to the floor. We also went on a fantastic ride called Disk’O. It combines rocking back and forth with spinning. It was probably the scariest ride I was on, next to the Inverter. The Inverter flips you upside completely. It was extremely scary! Next was the Canyon Blaster. It is a 1 minute 30 second rollercoaster ride. On it, you experience 2 corkscrews AND 2 loops at 55 mph. The bad part of this ride is that sudden turns make you smash your ears on the hard cushion strapping you in. It really smarts! Next up was “Chaos.” “Chaos” spins you almost parallel to the ground, while each individual seat spins. The name is not a misnomer, by any means! The 4D Theatre plays 5 minute movies based of popular kid shows in 4D. It is just 3D, with some interactive features. For instance, when a character peeled a banana, the theatre smelled like bananas. When the characters fell in water, the theatre was lightly doused with water. It was a very interesting 5 minutes. Unfortunately, all the rides aren’t always open. When we went, the Slingshot and Rim Runner weren’t open. This didn’t ruin the overall experience. The Adventuredome was immensely fun for the whole family!
